I just thought I would check in with you all and let you know whats been happening at RH Equine this summer and what we have planned going forward!
I have been out jump training an competing quite alot, we have a training venue about 40 minutes from us that I do try and get to at once a week. It’s a really good opportunity to train over a course of fences with all the fillers etc and get good videos of horses that are for sale too!
Heath has been jumping well, he has had several double clears recently in everything from 90cm – 115 . He won his first 115 at Willow Banks a few weeks ago, I was so pleased with him! He is starting to fill out abit now and making a lovely shape over a fence.
When Heath arrived from ireland, he was very poor and green. He is a completly different horse now and im so pleased I decided to keep him as my own.
I have had several sales liveries in which I have throughly enjoyed. Finding perfect homes for horses is what I love to do and I also enjoy recieving updates from new owners.
We have had 2 new arrivals – 2 new rides for me.
One is a stunning grey KWPN ( Luciano) who has come to me for further education. I hope to jump this chap BS before finding him an amazing home. With amazing breeding ( Quite Easy ) and his temparment – I dont think it will difficult to find him an experienced home who will use his ability to the max.
The other new ride is one I have bought myself, Geneva. She is a beautiful bay KWPN (Lupicor)who is just lovely, both on the ground and on board. Geneva already has a record BS so my aim is to get to know her and continue moving up the ranks on her as well as Heath.
Both horses are just 5 but are well schooled and very level headed. A pleasure.
We are now getting ready for the Arena UK Showjumping festival which takes place in September. All 3 horses are going which is really exciting.
Heath and Geneva have had some ring experience but Luciano is very green but I hope he takes it all in his stride and does both myself and his owner proud.
Whilst out training and competing on the young horses – we are also the proud owners of our first broodmare! In the background, we have our first bun in the oven!
Lilly, our new mum to be is exceptionally well bred ( Holland / Concorde ) and is in foal to Cyden Bodyguard (Gribaldi x Negro x Cocktail). Im so excited to meet the new arrival although we have a very long wait! Roll on spring 2017!! She is currently chilling in the field with my retired eventer, Buzz. Both horses are happy and enjoying a relaxing lifestyle.
Will keep you posted with our results and yard goings on over the next few months!
